Graduate and Senior Portraits

Congrats, grad!

You deserve photos that feel like you.

Your senior photos should be all about you enjoying how far you’ve come and where you’re going next. Let me make sure you can look back at your senior portraits and feel proud of your accomplishment! I want to get to know you, what your story has been so far and what your goals are for the future — and bring all of that into your graduate portraits.

As an ASU alumna (class of 2017) and an Arizona resident since 2015, I've spent time on almost all area university campuses and can help you customize your unique session experience.

"Andrea is the best of the best. She is kind and welcoming, full of great ideas, and so fun to shoot with. The photos turned out amazing and she got them to me faster than I could have ever asked for! Cannot recommend Andrea enough!"

What should you expect from your grad session?

  1. You submit an inquiry via my contact form — expect a response from me within 72 hours!
  2. We'll find a date that works for both of us. Tell me in your inquiry form if you're looking for a certain time frame, and I'll try my best to work with that!
  3. You'll sign the contract and pay the retainer fee — 50% is due to reserve your date, with 50% due when I deliver your photos.
  4. We're official!
  5. We'll set up a planning call to go over location, outfits, etc. You can always add onto the Milestone if you have your heart set on two locations or want to add family members/friends to take photos with you!
  6. I'll deliver your photos to you digitally in an online gallery, two weeks after your session.
  7. You have bragging rights — go post those pictures, print them out, and scream it to the world that you graduated!

When's the best time to book?

It's never too early!

If you're a college grad, you usually can't order regalia (cap, gown, etc) until you register for graduation, which starts at the beginning of your final semester. Shipping times can vary, but usually take about 3 weeks to arrive.

For spring semester, I usually see my first sessions during spring break (first two weeks of March) and then am busy from then through May!

For fall semester, I see grads from mid-October through December, but this class is not as large.

These are also the most popular months for weddings in Arizona, so I'm busy across the board — make sure to reach out as soon as you can to grab your spot!

How does booking work?

Once you reach out via the contact form, we'll find a date and I'll send a contract for you to sign. I also ask for 50% of the total session price as a retainer to reserve this date — I can't hold anything for you until both of these are complete.

Can you help with locations?

Always! Let me know in your inquiry where you're graduating from and which location you're considering. I'm extremely familiar with both ASU and U of A campuses (ASU alumna, here) and will help customize a session that's unique to you on our planning call.

If you're looking to go off-campus, I have tons of suggestions for that too! This is an especially great idea if you're looking for photos near graduation time when the crowds are dense. I do charge a travel fee for locations more than a 30 mile radius outside of Tempe.

Do you offer mini sessions?

I don't currently offer mini sessions, because I want to give as much time and attention to each grad as I can! This is such an important milestone, and I feel our sessions are most worth your time when you have me for as long as you need. Especially for on-campus sessions near graduation time, we may be together for up to two hours to wait for the most popular spots.

This also allows me to spend more time in the communication and editing stages because I take on a smaller number of clients each semester.

Can I bring a family member/friend to my session?

Of course! The most important element involved in great photos is your comfort. If having an extra cheerleader there with you helps your personality shine, I'm all for it! (I'll be hyping you up to, no worries) Just make sure this person is someone supportive who you'd love to share this experience with.

I can include up to three family members/friends in a handful of photos with you. If you'd like to share your session with another graduate, please let me know!

I cannot accommodate sessions for more than two grads at a time.

When are photos delivered?

Your photos will be delivered to you in an online gallery two weeks from your session date.

More Kind Words from clients

"Honestly, I cannot say enough good things. Andrea was fun and professional. She made the shoot so fun and comfortable that it felt like two friends hanging out. I did a mini shoot and she managed to get so many great shots in so many backgrounds and a ton of variety! You will not regret your experience or your pictures if you shoot with her."
