FAQ

When's the best time to book?

It's never too early!

If you're a college grad, you usually can't order regalia (cap, gown, etc) until you register for graduation, which starts at the beginning of your final semester. Shipping times can vary, but usually take about 3 weeks to arrive.

For spring semester, I usually see my first sessions during spring break (first two weeks of March) and then am busy from then through May!

For fall semester, I see grads from mid-October through December, but this class is not as large.

These are also the most popular months for weddings in Arizona, so I'm busy across the board — make sure to reach out as soon as you can to grab your spot!

How does booking work?

Once you reach out via the contact form, we'll find a date and I'll send a contract for you to sign. I also ask for 50% of the total session price as a retainer to reserve this date — I can't hold anything for you until both of these are complete.

Can you help with locations?

Always! Let me know in your inquiry where you're graduating from and which location you're considering. I'm extremely familiar with both ASU and U of A campuses (ASU alumna, here) and will help customize a session that's unique to you on our planning call.

If you're looking to go off-campus, I have tons of suggestions for that too! This is an especially great idea if you're looking for photos near graduation time when the crowds are dense. I do charge a travel fee for locations more than a 30 mile radius outside of Tempe.

Do you offer mini sessions?

I don't currently offer mini sessions, because I want to give as much time and attention to each grad as I can! This is such an important milestone, and I feel our sessions are most worth your time when you have me for as long as you need. Especially for on-campus sessions near graduation time, we may be together for up to two hours to wait for the most popular spots.

This also allows me to spend more time in the communication and editing stages because I take on a smaller number of clients each semester.

Can I bring a family member/friend to my session?

Of course! The most important element involved in great photos is your comfort. If having an extra cheerleader there with you helps your personality shine, I'm all for it! (I'll be hyping you up to, no worries) Just make sure this person is someone supportive who you'd love to share this experience with.

I can include up to three family members/friends in a handful of photos with you. If you'd like to share your session with another graduate, please let me know!

I cannot accommodate sessions for more than two grads at a time.

When are photos delivered?

Your photos will be delivered to you in an online gallery two weeks from your session date.
