I'm ready to book! What's next?

Firstly, YAY! Secondly, I'll ask for you to complete a quick questionnaire with all the hard/fast details (full names, address, etc). I ask for a retainer fee to secure your date, and a signed contract to make it official! Everything is done online so you can review at any time, and pay via credit card or direct bank transfer.

I can't reserve any dates until I have both of those competed.

Can you help us plan?

Yes, of course! I have a really great wedding/engagement guide I'll send you when you book. It helps with engagement session locations, what to wear, and has mock timelines and checklists for what you'll need on your wedding day. And of course, I'm always here as a resource! Weddings are kind of my whole thing hahah.

How long are photo delivery times?

Graduate — 2 weeks

Engagement — 3 weeks

Wedding — 6-8 weeks

How are photos delivered?

All of my final edits will be delivered to you through an online gallery! No watermarks, no extra charges. It comes password protected so you get to choose who has access to view and download. You're also free to share the link on social media or directly with friends and family. Because I pay for online storage, your link will be good for a year after your session (and I'll give you a heads up before it disappears).

Do we receive all RAW files?

I don't give out RAW files. Editing is half of the magic, and you don't want half-baked photos!

Every digital edit I deliver to you is yours to keep forever — there's no up-selling or packages within packages (that's just silly).

Can you photoshop me?

I won't, I promise you don't need it. If you have a small request like removing a big zit that popped up in the middle of your forehead on your wedding day, I totally can. But I'm a firm believer that everything about you — where you are at this phase in your life, the texture of your skin, the little flyaways in your hair — are all important.

You don't need to be perfect, as much as the internet might tell you that you do.

What if we need to reschedule?

Hey, things happen!

For weddings: If you submit a written request to reschedule (i.e. email with me and receive my response) more than 30 days out, we can apply your retainer fee to a new date within one calendar year of your original. All new dates are subject to my availability, and this can get tight! But I want to be as accommodating as I can.

For other sessions: One reschedule is allowed per retainer fee, as long as it's requested more than 7 days in advance. A new retainer will be required for additional changes.

What if you can't make it to our wedding?

Ahh! Nightmare. Heaven forbid something happens to me and I can't make it to your wedding, I'll do everything in my power to make sure you have another amazing, qualified photographer to take my place. Ideally this photographer would shoot for me and I would still do all of the editing (but hey, I could be in a coma in this hypothetical).

If for some reason even this isn't possible, I'll refund you in full.

How many weddings do you take per year?

Typically 5-6 per month. I want to ensure I can give full attention to each of my couples and keep my delivery times short! The most popular windows for Arizona weddings are October-November and March-May. If you're thinking of reaching out about your date, do it ASAP so we can save your spot.

How long have you been a photographer?

I've been photographing graduates since 2017 and started filming weddings in 2018! I was the solo in-house photographer and videographer for a mattress company for four years, shooting and editing product photos and doing a little bit of marketing.

I took my photography business full time in April 2021 — so your photos are now my #1 priority!
