A proposal, revisited
When Jimmy proposed to Mikayla in front of their closest family and friends under a pavilion at the Desert Botanical Garden in Phoenix, Arizona, they knew they'd return there to take their engagement photos. And what a contrast of days they had! They braved the sweltering Arizona sun to walk the winding trail of senita cacti before he popped the question, but their session brought overcast skies following a rainy morning. The perfect cuddle weather, as I always say! (There's nothing worse than sweating all over each other while trying to take cute photos, but that's usually the case here in the Valley haha!)
These two hold a special place in my heart — Mikayla is the sister of a great friend of mine, and I've gotten to celebrate so many milestones through photos with their family! That's truly the best part of this job — not only getting to meet brand new friends and hear their stories, but to be able to give what feels like the ultimate gift to the people currently in my life.
They're getting married at Jimmy's parents' house this fall (2023), and I can't wait to help them craft a day 100% unique to them!
