Papago Park and Tempe Town Lake Engagement Session
I love a session close to home! I live in the neighborhood nearby Tempe Town Lake, so I was unbelievably excited when my college friend Matt contacted me and said he was traveling back to the area to visit his fiancée, Cassidy. We started at Papago Park and did a quick out and back walk on the Eliot Ramada Loop trail — perfect for photo sessions because it's paved and totally level. We drove around to Papago Ponds (where I'd done family photos for Cassidy last year!) for some more great backdrops before heading to Tempe Town Lake. Thanksgiving weekend meant the park was packed, but we were really lucky to secure parking at both locations (there's a little more by the ponds than anywhere else on site). We ended our shoot at North Shore Beach, via East Lake View Drive, for easy walking access and classic views of the bridges and businesses along Mill Avenue and Rio Salado Parkway. All in all a gorgeous evening with cool temps, great views, and a sweet couple!
